Name the spot, size, and what made it so great. I know it's hard to pick just one but think about it and maybe list the top three rides you can remember.

1. Hobe Sound after Irene snuck up our back door about 5 years ago, shoulder high, my first full on barrel on a surfboard that I pulled in got deep and came out unscathed. Greatness factor: made the barrel, my buddy saw the whole ride from off the shoulder so he saw me tucked up in there, and I was on my 9'6" which was just over the top.

2. Broward/PB County line, Hurricane Bertha swell 1995. Solid 10ft in Broward should be enough right there, but was the first wave that actually sucked me back UP the face while I was dropping in making the drop take seemingly forever. JUst a great ride with solid fast moving POWER you don't get around here that often.

3. My first wave at Boca Barranca that just reeled off for about 400yards. Shoulder high with my travel buddies and 3 other people in the lineup. Top 3 session of my life for that matter. Timed the ride 1 minute 50 seconds. Just sit there and look at your watch that long then think about surfing a wave for that length of time. downside = 25 min paddle back up the point. Was a 5 or 6 wave session.

I'll go with Playa Escondita in Costa Rica. I was surfing with GFYS and our buddy Jon. That wave goes off and is by far the best wave I have ever ridden. It breaks hollow and not too fast...

1- Soup Bowl (offshore- 8feet): the best reef break I have ever ride and crazy take off.
2-Hossegor (La Nord):biggest wave, it was the same day of the WCT final 2004....15 feet (by the way I take California size)
3-The most fun...somewhere between Melbourne and Sebastian,by myself with a perfect 6 feet offshore from 6-11am: super nice and deep barrels, so glassy... I guess the nobody factor made it even sweeter and it's so rare that I knew I had to appreciate the value of this session
