Getting Cut up. not bodybuilding!

this sucks ballz my knee looks like chopped liver, I got owned by boca pavilion and its war like reef trenches out in the shore line, comming in got worked and jumped off thinking soft sandy bottom wont hurt me.BANG reef,rock,coral,cement horror!!:eek: great sliced my foot a lil knee more so hand a little and was lucky to not have a leg get stuck in one of those reef worm holes where your leg drops to knee level while the other foot sits perched on the rock waiting for a set to throw you and break you leg into little bits..

So its sunny today and rideable and for the past two days ive been gimping around and puting iodine and oitments like im some old dude with hemorids on my knee.

this has to happen to others right? im not this un lucky am i?:confused:

Went out earlier this year with Surfxtc and Sprocket in an spot in the jupiter area. Solid chest high day with occasional bigger sets. But I got worked on the inside in the very beginning smashing my arm into the same style rock formations you mentioned.

Once Sprocket gets in the water I am there for about another 10 minutes and I get caught by a clean up set on my paddle back out. Tossed and turned hit rock on my upper back and head. Decided to call it a day and take some pics.

I didnt get cut up too bad just beaten. Its strange because I have surfed there several times and I have always been aware of underwater terrain but this one day kicked my ***.

Many years ago @ Jupiter Inlet on a strong north drift had to paddle in the channel to get out of the water. Got washed up on the jetty getting sliced up pretty good on the arms and legs.

dang that must have sucked that jetty doesnt look very nice.

I got another run in with rocks but i wasnt hurt but my board was, being a complete idiot at tresspass with some friends was pumping on a wave into shore and was completly looking down at my my feet and the wave glanced up and had a direct path with one of those rock piles jumped off braced my hit with my hands and the rock didnt even cut me i kinda just touched it and was fine but my board cracked the nose nothing more humilating then that i think

dude similar thing happened to me surfing palm beach around clark beach. wiped right into the rocks. 4 stiches on the back of my head.

Ocean Reef mis judged a set wave to jump off the rock and it piled over and mowed me down. several lacerations to me and my stick. was loooong time ago b4 the park was even built.
