I have a 2 seater, and use my wife's station wagon when going to the beach. This has been working out for the last few years. Now she is getting tired of the stick shift. I think the final straw is when I took off early in the morning last week, and forgot she had an appointment to take the 2 dogs to the vet.
Since I don't want to get rid of my car just yet, and a third is out of the question, I was looking for some way of transporting my board to the beach. Yea I could just drop the top and stick it in the passenger seat, but, wouldn't want to get caught like that when it rained.
Some time ago I could have sworn that I saw a trunk mounted system that would hold 2 boards (up to 7 foot). Kinda of like the Hampton Bike carrier. Well I can't seem to find anything like this and don't know if I was just having a latent hallucination left over from the 60's.
So has anyone come across racks/carriers for a 2 seater?
