express ur self.. say what ur thinking rite now.. ramdom stuffs? how do u feel rite now?  ;) :(
i am looking at the ft pierce buoy... 1.3 ft, 8 sec, SE wind. incoming tide in a couple of hrs. do we drive N or use the day to get some stuff done?
ha- see you at the beach.
i am also getting really excited about the slightly stoopid show- it is tomorrow, new smyrna, all acoustic:)
i also am thinking of a pair of shows i watched on the disc science last night... the first was called brainman and was about a guy from scotland or ireland that can do equations such as 267,852x324,512 in his head. he went to iceland, as a challenge, and learned the language, and grammar, in a week. as anyone who has listened to bjork knows, icelandic is a very bizarre language... as difficult as english, but with the african "click-click" and other nasal noises to make it even harder to learn. it was unreal. and the guy looked like he should be in radiohead.
the second show had seven people- the point was to see if iq test were a good measure of overall intelligence. good show- if you watch it, take note of the japanese kids who have been trained on an abacus.
peace, dan
oh yeah, this picture has had me laughing all weekend:

that acoustic Stoopid show is gonna be SICK AWESOME...am thinking about heading up to Mizner Park to see them and G. Love play, but i might be too lazy to ride up there...got nobody to go with, and seeing a concert by yourself just isn't all that fun....have a blast at the New Smyrna show though..

Yeah it was kinda weak... slightly stoopid performed a good show but their openers wore us out. I wouldve liked to have been sitting too, but it was fair. There was a lot of zesty pine in the air if you know what I mean.. lol

as matter of fact, yes... someone had a pretty decent video set-up. no soundboard recordings or anything like that- but i would check youtube and myspace over the next few weeks. i was really surprised by how few people there were. they were being pretty strict about id, armbands, etc... but there wasn't more than 20 people hanging around the parking lot. and they only sold 300 tickets- and i would guess another 50 or 100 locals, friends of the staff, etc.
as far as the show, it was really good. they didn't go on until 1045 and i really tried to forget the drive ahead of me. but once they played "fireshot", i was good.:)
we got to see a bunch of friends, get a little crazy, and we got home safe...

sorry to hear about the computer; as far as photoshop... i wish i had the time:cool: that picture cracks me up every time i see it. it's the subtlety.
on a different note, slightly stoopid... they are absolutely amazing. whoever told them to get electric guitars should have been there. they are the primus of regaee punk. that song, closer to the sun, was insane. the guy with the hat played guitar... he's real good.
