Too soon? Wouldn't people get emotional from watching the film? This thread is not intended as a political debate. Just an inquiry of a small sample of the American public.

I won't bother to watch it. Unfortunately, It will of course be dramatized therefore making in quasi-fiction, which is exactly what's wrong in this country. No accurate documentation of facts anymore. People watch this crap and assume it's 100% factual. Just look at this whole DaVinci Code uproar. On page one Dan Brown says this is fiction, made up ****, not true, a pretend story. But you have all sorts of people decrying it saying it's heresey, evil, the sky is falling, etc.
Or how about the Perfect Storm in movieland a 100ft wave isn't big enough so they double it up for dramatic effect. I mean yeah the book wasn't all fact as no one knows what really happened, but c'mon so reality would be nice. (check out these pics of some 40ft rough seas as it is a surf related msg board : http://ehowa.com/features/anyportinastorm.shtml )
Helloooooooo people, lights on no one home? Oh I'm sorry you brain has been turned into mindless mush due to your steady diet of American Idol, Simple Life, and Survivor. Who really gives a **** if Paris Hilton plays with a cow's teet or so and so won the immunity challenge and doesn't have to whack off in a pit of snakes while singing Julie Andrew's show tunes.
Ever give the kid behind the register the extra 3 pennies so you get a dime or nickel back? They screw there face up and look at it like they are magic beans, shrug their shoulders and punch in the amount and there face lights up in wonderment when the register tells them to give you $2.05 in change.
I actually had one girl ask me, "How did you know to give me the extra pennies so you'd get a nickel back?" I told her it was called math and maybe she should look into learning it. True Story. It's pathetic.
Ask me how I really feel.

A life of leisure and a life of laziness are two things. There will be sleeping enough in the grave.

As far as the change goes...
I was in Banana Republic today... sale... I handed the guy $20.25 for a $19.24 purchase. He messed up the drawer and had to figure the change out in his head. He stood there for a minute and asked his associate "$1.01, right?"
I couldn't help but think of Sprocket's post and laugh.
Then again, who am I? 2Fresh tutors me in math.

yeah but they teach addition and subtraction in third grade.
I only had take Calc II to get a Comp Sci BS. Well also Matrix theory (long b4 Neo was around) and a few others that taught me buying a bunch of lotto tickets is a waste of money.

I have to be honest... talking about studying math irritates me...
but I can talk finance, comissions, and rates all day. Perhaps, to me, it's more practical.
Anyway,
I think it's too soon for a 9/11 movie. I keep thinking the phrase "Is it 2008 yet?"

Now that reminds me of the movie The Clerks.
How much is the slurpee, 40th?
Random thought: 2Fresh was drinking a slurpee in the movie theatre. He was having a hard time drinking it, looked at me and said, "How do you drink this thing? I don't get it."
Gotta love the sincerity.
