I was looking for a repair shop near Orlando/Cocoa, but now I think it will cost more than I can pay for.:(

What do you think the price range for a fix like this should be?

Unless I do find a reasonable price I'll have to fix it myself.
Any ideas?

THat is a project man. First off how old is the board, namely is it a collectible. If so I'd spend the cash and have a pro do it.

If it's just a beater have fun doing it yourself, but make sure you buy the right type of cloth and resin, but for the much effort I'd shop it around the beach area up that way, you'll probably find someone who do it for a fair price.

What price range would a fair price be?
Or

yikes , duno man probly would be better off getting another board, if you check the forum out theres always boarsds for sall at great prices. If not Id say go the library and get some fiberglassing ,epoxy books and pickup the correct material. good luck!

I'll look for some books.
Since it is just the nose I was hoping I could just dip it into something.

from the looks of it I'd consider stirpping the board and total reglass job.....

I'd still try to date the board first. Look for any info on the stringer like a serial number or production date (not that common) If you can find some info I'd then email the board manufacturer to see if they can shed some light on it.

that board is in bad shape. I'd just save up and get another. that damage looks expensive to repair
