I have the surf jones
I wish I could surf today
But flatness prevails

Life is very good
With surf it would be better
Add a beer to that

Haiku is structured
five seven five syllables
Not like waterman's

Pretty waves roll in
Looking for the perfect one
take off, bottom turn

Paddle back outside
Large set looms on horizon
Caught inside again

[Sprocket]

Drop in wave too late
Fins break free from the wave face
Get sucked over falls

[Sprocket]

Glassy azure wall
Must pump my board for more speed
Lip starts to throw out
