now I have a real reason to get a boat....

took me a second to figure out what was happening.

guess you start with a short rope, then drop it, seems like it might be tougher getting up with such a short rope, unless the boat starts off slow.

A certain Island in WPB intracoastal has been known to have a little break under the right conditions.

Guess you musta been in France, cuz this has been going on for decades.
Tilt the outdrive up so you plow more to increase the wake. When I was in high school, my dad's friend pulled us behind a 58' Chris Craft with no trim tabs. Belly button high and a steep face.

Looks like a specialty board though so you can do all those wakeboardy tricks.
We just used and old single fin, cuz thats all there was.

hell we used beater boards that were too small for the gulf...i use to ride a 5'10 shorty for those wakes. I probably will do it again when I am home this trip. I will break out the camera and see what I can muster up

If you are interested in doing this, there is a place in Pompano you can go for a price. It's not too much though. Call Surf World in Pompano for info. That is where I found out.

I wish...maybe someday. Those Detroits are pretty smokey though. And oh yeah, at the right speed, easy waist high.

you guys ever see on fuel tv when mick fanning does it on his friends wakeboarding boat and was busting out sick **** on it, but id be more worried someones gonna lose a limb trying to learn on a outboard motor, its not a problem on a ski nautiq when the props under the hull
