Not overly loyal to any brand/label, just depends on your cash flow, needs and min requirements. And patience level.

It depends on what your needs are and what your budget is. For professionals or individuals who like the ease of use and the multitude of graphic designs, I would say Macs are the way to go. The service and the expertise of Mac professionals (at least in my neck of the dunes) is unsurpassed. I'm planning to snag one of those Mac Book pros for my business within the next year.
PCs are cheap and compatible. With the new Mac OS, we're starting to see the marketability of Macs in more and more homes.
If Bill Gates is over Microsoft, I am too. ;)

if people gave a **** and more things were compatible with macs, they'd be infected as well.
up the PCs!
pc- the hard drive was free; i take tons of pics and work on photoshop quite a bit- i would like a mac... but first, another board- then i can focus on luxuries.

It's all price point for me. I'd love a Mac but I can buy 3 PCs for the price of one (or a nice PC and a week in CR). I like OS X as it's a UNIX kernal, but then I can load up my PC to run LINUX too....

with that said, I'd like to go there and get natural.
I work on PCs all day. I prefer the Mac design programs and ease of use. You guys should see my roommate, though. He's got 5 harddrives in one tower (that has a fan to keep the damn thing cool) and two computer screens... he's on that thing alllll the time!

Seriously, computer addiction is a spektor sweeping across the world.

Old thread, I know, but I just bought a Macbook. Love it. It's better to sit a Scan Design recliner than a stupid ole computer chair anyday.
