I drifted about 3 miles in 2.5 hours and got some GREAT rides. All south of where I live..... Waited for the wind to go offshore and had a ball. Got worked hard as it was pretty heavy for only chest high.

Fun! Died towards the end of the day, but still fun. Surfed a little south of 14th Ct. and the north side of the jetty at port everglades.

yeee niiice waves in Delray best from 3pm to 6pm....chest at beginning and more stomach by the end. Drifty but hollow waves and mostly right.

Wish I could have got the day off like I had planned. "I was robbed" which is worse than being skunked. When skunked no one surfs, when robbed I think that almost everyother surfer in the world "but me" is enjoying waves. Next one please.

Anyone know if the Trestles comp that kicks off on the 12th of Sept. will be televised and where other fuel may one view it?

Yeah, the 1st day of the blow I thought was better. The next day I spent more time paddling than anything. Just a bit of a let down, I think.:rolleyes: And yes, it was better than nothing.

not really considering it was just a tropical depression, it had some size and power which is rare, saw a bunch of broken boards, kept the kooks outta the water at least
