Nice one fishnsurf, looks like that fish was in the upper slot for sure

Ive only got 2 keepers so far. How stupid is it that you have to throw back the big ones?!? I keep catching fish over the slot

Well, that's a good problem to have. Those fish you are catching are STUDS! If you want to kill a few, get down to Boca inlet before the bait is all small. Recently, the fish i've been catching have been on the beach side of the south jetty. I was there yesterday morning and I had a few shots, but I couldn't keep any stuck. That fish was definately on the "close" side.

just saw the date on these posts. kinda old.
Nice pics though.
Although, with the pilchard thind, dude, either give it to an outgoing boat or set it free to grow bigger for the next person.
Unless it's some kind of "Man eat small bait fish" thing i'm not on to yet......LOL just joshing dude......

Cool. Pretty soon the bait will be back in the inlet, and the fun will begin again. By the way, if you've never had deep-fried pilchards, you don't know what you're missing.

If you know what you are doing and have gear, and see our boat, say hi to me ,Linda....and if there's room (most likely) you can fish with us.

I stayed back. JR and i had an UGLY fight and i would have used him as chum for sharks if i had gone out. 1st time ever a fight kept me from fishing.

Glad no one showed and got bummed ( i asked the other guy if anyone walked up as they were droping the boat in).

But seriously i always hear peps b*tching about not havin any way to get offshore.

Offers always open. Most weekends at Boca inlet....:)

Oh, there are a lot of boats w/ that name. If you see us, you'll know... Fools poppin beers at 8 am....lol

Sorry dude, as usual i missed your question.

No. 1st. time owning a boat had to go the cheap rout and add on from our buds. Seafox.

Have a friend at marina One, but don't know if i want to tap into my investment cash till it grows a bit more.

But every time you go to a boat show, man do you want to upgrade.
