Where are the most consistent waves? I have some people telling me to go north and others saying Jaco. Anyone know the answer to that?

Dominical has surf just about everyday of the year. Even more than Hermosa.

Sprocket is right on there, but we surf beach breaks at home. Hit the points and reefs. That's my logic anyway.

I heard that Dominical is really remote and home to a lepper colony?

you don't surf beach breaks like Dominical in FL that's for sure and oh btw there's a point right around the corner and a few other places not too far if you know where to look.

You are right on that, no question, but you got to love those points. The point you are talking about in Dominical is a little south of the beach breaks, right? It's a small right point?

There is a right that breaks off of a rock at Dominicalito, but Punta Dominical is around the corner a bit further south and breaks off a rocky headland. The point is actaully out away from the headland and is a submerged lava table which is not so submergered at low tide :) was holding 8 foot when the beach was 15 and closing out. sketchy rip current if your not careful. Oh and watch where everyone gets in/out its the only good access point.

um I would say the area is not beginner friendly, however, there is a thriving surf school for girls there so go figure.....oh and the punanni is ripe there. Spanish Lang school has hot tasty young ladies from all over getting sloppy in the clubs at night fun fun fun
