4 door hard top surf mobile
White upper with gold molding on lower.
Power locks, mirror, windows, 5 speed manual
no oil leaks
luggage racks on top for boards
5 decent tires
tinted windows
SurfXTC sticker on back window
Runs like a tank and thats no joke.

Mileage ???? about 80-100,000 speedometer only works half the time
Ac works great but you gotta cut it off 1 minute before you cut the car off or you will hear the wheel or something keep turning.
tailpipe is busted in half
Driver window slips out of track so you need to assist it up only, goes down fine.
clutch master cylinder occasionly leaks dry so you gotta keep DOT 3 on hand and replace when the clutch hits the floor and don't get up again. Refill and pump clutch pedal to bleed the air.
Needs a 20 amp fuse for 6 disc cd player/radio, cigar lighter, and power mirror to work again. Crossed wires started smoking and melting going down the road with the radio cranked Speaker box and amp were hot wired to battery by previous owner.
Check engine light has been on for about 4 years.
Engine has misfire in 1 or 2 cylinders

I don't think I could give it away so I'll drive it till it goes to the boneyard. However I will entertain offers. That should in itself be entertaining.

Can't tell with the speedometer/odometer working half the time. Haven't calculated from parking spot to work vs. how many days I can run it before refill. It could use a K&N air filter, new exhaust pipe, and fix the misfire to greatly improve performance.

The thing with the misfire is best I and several mechanics could figure is that it is in the #1 and 2 cylinder. Because it has coil over packs and the boots are cracked, liquid tape and electrical tape= no fix, you would have to replace the entire boot and pack (only sold as 1 piece) at $125 each X2 for $250. Replacements are from the 1999 Vitara. The actual 1998 Sport coil packs have the wrong plugs. They put 99 plugs in the later 98 Sidekick Sports. ?Go figure? That is unless you got to a junk yard and pull em yo self.

New exhaust = $300 unless you patch it together yo self.

O2 sensors ??? for sure they are $$$

It is 4x2 NOT 4x4 so better mileage.

I drove it to Sippi's a few weeks ago. Made it fine at 70-75 mph. A little shaky though. It could use an alignment as well.

I totally bewilder people off when my little 1.8L high rev engine beats everyone off and down the line, that is with the AC off so it does not stumble. AC on makes it stumble/misfire so it may not be 1 & 2 cylinder.

What can I say, it's a KEYS CRUISER!!! Complete with Murphy the Surfy knee paddlin on yellow surfboard bobblehead on da dash draped in seashell leis and wooden Honu airfreshener.

Guess I'll have to take to some pics this weekend after a clean up.
You could however eat off the engine as I use wire brushes and tooth brushes on my cars' engines.

A moment of silence for the Zuke...............good friend and loyal companion went to the great automotive unknown.
Finally limped the zuke into a dealer and basically gave it away for $400 but I got a new surf wagon in return. :)
New '06 Scion Xb in Black Cherry Pearl. Love that little wagon man. Now I can come kook up your breaks more often and not worry about getting stranded.......just beat down.
