So I went to the skatepark and a couple guys were riding one of these so I tried it out. Let me tell you...I rode the board for two hours. Took a few minutes familiarize myself with it but didn't take too long. Much more like surfing. You can shift and adjust your weight accordingly. Use your legs and your lower body to create the speed desired. Wanna speed up...shift your weight to the front foot a bit
slow down jam on the break by leaning more on the back foot.

After about 10-15 minutes I took it into the pool. Then, got up the nerve to drop in. Made a couple and took a BIG digger on another.

Didn't want to get back on the skateboard at all. Definitely going to pick one up.

it's probably one of the hardest boards to figure out but once you get it it's pretty cool. you just have think surfing. and not so much skating. i have a freind who brought her grandson over to the market to show me that board.he's 7 or 8 and knows how to ride this thing. i went to hop on it like a skater and flat on the ground. you really have to just get on it and start a .... well, like a rollercoaster, like your pumping down the line. it took me about half hour before i could really start cruising around the parking lot. the funky thing about it is there really is no pushing to get it started kinda wierd. i haven't tried it on a hill or (florida grade) i'd probably kill myself. i'll stick with my sector nine.

I was surfing with my wife and this kid asked me if she was my daughter. He was about 10-11.

you just gotta bend your knees and like you stated earlier...."pretend your surfing." WHen I rolled into the pool I just put myself into a pig-dog type position and it wasn't bad...then slowly started to stand up a little more as if pumping the face of a wave. But yeah...took about 10-15 tries to get the speed going w/ just a shove of the foot. As a friend said...IT Looks like a set of tennis rackets on shopping carts wheels doesn't it?
