wetsuit advice

i've been shopping for a new wetsuit for a while now and can't seem to make up my mind. I'm 5'3" and 115 and get cold really easy. any suggestions?

You are close to the same size as my wife. She has two wetties. A spring for when the weather is like it now (cloudy windy and just a tad chilly) and a full suit for the after the cold front session when the air is cold.

Todays materials are so much more flexible than even 5 years ago so if you are on a limited budget I'd suggest a 3/2 full for you. Given that you are small and chill easily the suit won't feel "hot" to you and you'll be able to wear it anywhere in FL and stay warm.

I think I can help you with that, I am exactly the same size as yours and I've been shopping for the same stuff last week, I tried a whole lot of wetsuits so now they don't have anymore secret for me...
If you go for O'neill choose a size 4 (or eventually 6 if your arms are very strong), Billabong will be a size 2 or 4 and Roxy a size 6.
Try to choose it not too thick, even if you are cold, I don't think that more than a 3/2 will be necessary for Sth FL and last advice, if you want to save a little money and spend less than 200$ for it, go on ebay, with a little patience you can find some real good deals!

PS: I was talking about a full suit! It's better for chilly girls...or at least grab sthg with long sleeves...

I'm 5'1 and 95lbs. I found a wetsuit for myself in Cali that fit perfectly. If I can, you can, too! :) If you get cold easily, get some booties, too. They make a world of difference!

JUst don't buy a used wetsuit. After a couple of years the material breaks down and won't keep you warm. I have a spring suit like that now...not too mention that it doesn't stretch as well so I have to paddle harder.

thanks for the advice sasha! I passed it along to my boyfriend along with my x-mas list and at the top highlighted the wetsuit. Some of the new Roxy ones are really cute.
