a friend of mine went last summer, said it was great....and cheap :)

Have several friends moving there now and planning to open a surf shop etc. stay tuned.

I think we have another surf trip/bachelor party planned to go to nicaragua in may. Keep us posted on your friends shop. None of us have been, so having people there with local knowledge would be a bonus.

I'm so glad to hear Nicaragua isn't a scary place to go. I was planning on going later on when I can after my surgery. It was the cheapest place to go so far, and it seemed to be the latest thing, so I'm glad to hear it's actually safe and I'm not going to be raped or something and the politics stillr emain somewhat under control.

Really have to check on the land in question due to it changing hands in the early eighties. If the land has been in the same hands since before the civil war then you have a much better chance of incurring less hassles in the legal proceedings. So I have heard.

A crew left last saturday and are going to be on recon for about four or five weeks. Hell some may not come back by choice.

yeah well i heard it sux and the area is filled with land mines. KABOOM! where is hurlysurfer? Oah.. I found an arm over here.

Nicaragua is awesome. If you know the right spots you can surf by yourself for hours.
