I surfed there during June. Four straight days of chest high reef breaks. Won't tell you where though..you can take a boat and cruise through the northern Abacos and find your own, private reef break. They're everywhere.
DANGER: THEY'RE VERY SHALLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!

Why wont you tell us where? Not a lot of secrets in the northern Abacos man.

Well of course you could go to Elbow and get good waves all the time, but if you have a boat and lots of time, I'd suggest cruising through all of the uninhabited islands and such. Theres a surfer-magazine worthy wave out there. Someone has to find it.

Speaking of Rum Cay - me and another are planning a day trip.. we need to get a total of 7 ppl. To charter a twin engine Cheiftan for a day to land on the dirt strip runway and wait for us while we surf is around $2500 --- $2500.00 / 7 = $360.00 -- these are round numbers. Out the door expect approx $500.00 after you figure in country entrence fee, tax, lunch, dinner etc... Just so you all know there is no official nature to this trip - just a bunch of people getting together to surf a killer surf spot that very few have surfed.. much less even know about. e-mail: brett@clearrocksolutions.com if you are interested.
