I have an 8'6 that fits nicely into my '98 Ford Escort because the seats fold down and the nose slides conveniently under the glove compartment. Sadly, however, it may be time for a new vehicle. I have seen cars that are larger than mine, but based on the way the inside is configured and/or the seats don't fold, I cannot fit my board in. So please anyone who can fit their board inside their car, please state the name, year, and model of your car. Thank you, and be well.

I use to have 2000 Honda Civic DX two door and the seats folded down and even my 9'0" long board fit great. That car was still running strong with 122K miles on it. Great on gas to.

The only way to kill a civic is to put a bomb in it...Toyota, Nissan, and Honda's are built like a rock

you are so not kidding...... in that 122K miles the only things I ever had done to that car were oil changes, and tires replaced. That's it.

I had a 95 Tacoma with 190k and the only thing that stopped that was a sea-wall and beach. I was ran off the road by a car cutting me off. 50-50 grinded the wall and landed in the beach.
My truck at the time was the 4x4 on 33's with a 3" lift. So it had room to get up on the 2-foot sea-wall but the frame was not made for grinding.
It took two tow-trucks to get me out. The first one got stuck in the sand. Go figure
But the only thing I changed on that truck was a new clutch and water pump besides the typical oil and tune ups.

Sip, not much luck with the trucks and accidents.....ouch.
I'm surprised those little cars can hold a 9ft plus LB.....
My Jeep Cherokee will hold a 9'2" inside, but my LB is a 9'6" :(

Drop the back seats and lower the front and they slide right into the passenger foot area. My parents still have a 91 corolla that they don't really drive to much but it has 420,000 miles and they have only replaced te alternator and cluth and they live 5 miles down a dirt road.

I have a 2002 Mazda protege5 that fit my 9'0" in it perfectly. I took a tapemeasure with me when I bought it and wouldn't buy anything that I couldnt put the board in.
