I look around and it seems that most of the richest people in the world either never went to college or do something that is completely unrelated to their degree. What I am wondering is it really needed?

hard to say it like that, what really is needed it motivation and goals. I trully believe if you are stuborn enough and willing you can acomplish great things without going to school, Its not the easiest way to do it but there really is no right or wroung approach. be smart with your money invest in good things and you should do alright. more importantly focus on things our able to do or have knowledge in.

Seriously though, be yourself and lead your own path. You will learn alot about life and maybe something from the books too. Yes, you can learn alot from traveling the globe, embedding and embracing yourself in different cultures. Yet, there will be numerous experiences you will have in college that
you otherwise would not attain. It's a great place to have no responsibilities (except for maybe a class or two) and find yourself. Including a network of alumni that you may tap in future years. So don't burn any bridges. :)

the only part of college that i think i would like is all the women. heard from my boy at UF that the frat/ soriety parties can get pretty crazy.

I worked during school, joined a sorority, got my real estate license, and did it all my own. I practiced a lot of responsibilities and concepts that gained me lot of experience. Needless to say, I don't need anyone to take care of me and that freedom is the best thing I have learned thus far.
College is fun. You meet sooo many interesting people. It inspires one to get out there and see more of the world. Unless you've already seen it all and know everything. lol.

I'm going to be a legacy at my dad's frat when I goto college. That is if I get thru HS.
Bring on the ladies. Can't wait to see a naked college girl, other than on tv or in a magazine.
