Here is a snook I got at the lake worth spillway, 7/06/06 30lber.

Definately closed season, and definately over the slot. Nice fish! Oh yeah, there is only one season-salt and pepper.

post up your tools of trade, lure jig bait, lb test rod real combo. i want to be just like you and catch 30lb snook! ha

anyone have any spots in boca or deerfield that would yeald any fish?

Went back again fo' some mo' tonight. Got a bunch of lil ones, a slot sized one, lost 2 moooonsters, and landed a monster. 40in. prolly 20lbish.

Waterman: My spillway setup is an 8'6" custom graphite rod w/a Newell 338 spooled w/40lb test. 40lb doesnt seem to sporting but try turning a jumbo heading straight under the dock or going downstream w/the current. I use about 3ft. of 60lb. fluorocarbon leader and a mustad 3/0 short shank live bait hook. Bait can be either pilchards or shad. Artificials can be either bucktail jigs or stoms. Hope I was specific enough.

sweet thanks alot!, i do alot of bass fishing but have good poles and rods now so wanted to do some snook fishing heres my setup. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b105/elusivez28/IMG_3756.jpgthree shimano tr 100-g bait casters on stellar lite 7'0 rods. and two with 15lb , and one with 40 and then steel leader. friend has a boat so its easy with that, but I wanted to find some local spots.

Can You still get them like that when the season opens? That is one hot spillway, or you are just the man! Nice fish...again.:D

Boca inlet has plenty as long as the bait is there.

heres my pea**** from this morning caught 4 of them using a purple worm that i ripped to make almost like a grub but this bad boy was the biggest and put up a hell of a fight

I went to the keys earlier this week. Nothing was really biting except lemon sharks we got 3. Then last night I went to the spillway, got 1 nice snook and 1 hog. My reg. pc is messed up but ill try and get pics this evening

They were eating everything, blue runners, cuda chunks, and bonita chunks

Went out tonight (7/22) and got another horse snook: 40inches

you pull that up with your rod or gaff it id i dont know your location but that thing is a beast to manhandle up
